A new gateway for Melbourne

Major CBD thoroughfares such as Collins Street and Bourke Street now converge into the Docklands waterfront with tram lines connecting to The District Docklands within the Free Tram Zone. In 2017, The District saw the relaunch of a new retail centre featuring popular international and Australian brands. Completion of Market Lane is anticipated for 2019.

Market Lane fresh food precinct is a key component to The District master plan, which also features future commercial offices and residential project in the pipeline.
